Snack time again at school

Gotta love how they are all crammed onto the one blanket to enjoy snack time!

Can't capture this in a picture!

The other day, I was coming home from my moms group and Sophia was sitting in the back seat being rather quite. Then out of no where I hear this little voice say to me "I love you." My heart melted, it was the first time she said it to me without me saying I loved her first.
She could have gotten away with anything that day. These are the moments I live for as a mommy!
I am so blessed to have the honor of being Sophia's mom! Looking forward to many more I love you moments.

A day at the park

We have finally gotten our gorgeous spring weather. So what better way to enjoy it then a day at the park. Sophia had so much fun! She would sit at the top of the slide and I would be at the bottom, she would look at me and say "Mommy catch you?" of course I would catch her. So much fun! Now all Sophia talks about is the park! Looking forward to many days at the park as the weather gets even nicer.

It has been awhile

Well, I fell behind. Life got away from me or should I say I forgot to bring my camera along for the ride.
I have new pics to post but am far from the 1 picture for every day.
Hey, I am just happy I am still doing this blog thing.

Weekend with Papa and Tae Tae

For our anniversary gift Josh's parents offered to take Sophia for a weekend. Well, our anniversary was in October but we waited until February to cash in our gift. Sophia spent the weekend with Papa and Tae Tae, well Mom and Dad ended up having a VERY relaxing weekend at home. This is just a sample of what Sophia got to do. Yes, that is right, she is at a hockey game. Papa is convinced she will play hockey one day. Mom is doing everything to keep Sophia away from that. Sophia loved the game, she made it through almost the whole game.

Mommy's slippers

Sophia found my slippers. It was so adorable to watch her walk around in them while she was saying 'Mommy's shoes'
Love to see her be like me.

A visit with Grandpa Larry and Great Grandma Joan

This past weekend we made a visit to see Grandpa Larry and Great Grandma Joan down in Sherburn MN. Sophia had a great time getting showered with attention.

Underwater adventures

Sophia even enjoyed going under water too.

Swimming Lessons

Sophia's last day of swimming lessons was this last Saturday. Mommy got to join in on the fun so I could get some pictures. Hard to believe this little girl cried on the first day.

First time for.....

Using the potty! That is right....Sophia used the potty chair for the first time yesterday! She was playing around with it at first like she usually does. She looked at me and pointed to the toilet meaning I needed to sit on the toilet and then she sat on her potty chair, looked at me and said "poopy" but I could hear she was 'peeing' She stood up, looked at the pee in the potty chair and said 'OH,OH' but I got so excited and praised her. She got a kick out of watching me pour the pee in the toilet and then helped flush the toilet. Pretty sure this isn't going to become the norm as the baby will be coming soon but it is a start. Also a perfect picture for blackmail in the future! ; )

More birthday pictures

Sophia was all about helping Uncle Michael with the balls for his Skeeball game!

Having so much fun riding the Clifford the Dog ride together.

Devin's 8th Birthday

Devin turned 8 years old on Monday. We joined them at Chuck E Cheese for dinner. The kids had a blast. Regan was on this little swing ride that went around and around. As you can tell when I took this picture she wasn't liking it, but as soon as it stopped she wanted to go again. Sophia was watching Regan the whole time. Sophia got on the ride after Regan was done and I guess she thought since Regan had her hands in her mouth that is what she was suppose to do too.

A forgotten favorite

Baby signing time. Sophia used to watch this DVD all the time when she was 6 months to 1 year. I pulled it out the other day just to see what she would think. Well, she loves it again. Every morning at breakfast she signs as well as sings the theme song to it. She asks to watch it every morning. I highly recommend this series to anyone looking for an educational DVD for someone. I think Sophia would recommend it too.

Back Home

Sophia spent the weekend with Josh's parents, while we had a 'Babymoon'. Josh and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend spending time with each other and doing a bit of relaxing before baby #2 arrives. Pictures from Sophia's weekend will be posted later, she sure had a good time and was SPOILED! This is Sophia eating breakfast at home again. It was nice to have a weekend by ourselves and it showed us how much we enjoy Sophia.

Learning something new

Sophia loves to roll the ball back and forth with us. However the other day she realized daddy was sitting with his legs crossed Indian style. Here is her attempt to copy Josh. Almost there!
